KuriusHacks is a 5-day long virtual Game Jam open to high school, CÉGEP, and undergraduate students where you can work in a team of developers and artists or work in solo to create a game in the theme of Christmas that will be hosted online! There will be a Gaming period where you can play your fellow Jammers’ games!

Requirements

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: December 30th, 2021 @ 3:00 PM EDT

Requirements for your project to be considered eligible for prizes:

  1. You and your team must be registered to the event (on the website). Register here.
  2. Include a link to the code of your solution in your submission (whether it is on a repository or on another platform). The link should be accessible and public.
  3. Your game should correspond to the given theme of the Game Jam!
  4. No NSFW content is allowed.
  5. Teams of only up to 4 people are allowed.
  6. No part of the creation of the game should be started before the start of the game jam. You can begin ideating though!
  7. Your game must be playable online (on any web browser! ~ mostly Google Chrome & Firefox).
  8. If your team used assets in your game that your team didn't create, include the appropriate credit to each asset.
  9. You must have joined our Discord server & remain there throughout the entirety of the event to be eligible for prizes.

    How well does the game fit the theme of this Game Jam?
  • Visuals/Design
    Are the graphics & UI of the game consistent, clean, & aesthetically pleasant to look at?
  • Audio
    How well are the music & SFX integrated into the game?
  • Gameplay/Mechanics
    Are the game mechanics well implemented? Do they work well when playing? Are the game mechanics challenging to implement?
